בוגרת בית הספר לקרקס “סנדסיאל”, רותם מופיעה על במות שונות בארץ כשהיא תלויה בין שמיים וארץ, לעתים קרובות יחד עם חברה נוספת. המופעים של רותם מרגשים ומושכים את העין בו בזמן שהם מלאים פליאה על האומץ והטכניקה. המעברים על גבי חבל תלוי בגבהים הינם רק מטאפורה לחיים עבורה, בהם היופי והדיוק חשובים לא פחות מהשגת המטרה.
